St. Charles Youth & Family Services, based in Milwaukee, is a Catholic nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive youth and family assistance through a wide variety of prevention and intervention programs and services. Its mentoring services are meant for youth between the ages of 6 and 17, who could benefit from additional adult interaction and support. Its safety service managers meet on a weekly basis with children at risk of child abuse and neglect, to improve the parents' ability to meet the physical and emotional needs of their children. It coordinates services as mentoring, tutoring, youth and family counseling, and also provides treatment for boys and girls of ages 10 to 16, who are at risk of being involved in the juvenile justice system.
