Dairyland Power Cooperative

Founded in 1941, Dairyland Power Cooperative is a generation and transmission cooperative that provides wholesale electricity to more than 25 electric distribution cooperatives and over 15 municipal utilities in the Midwest. It serves clients in nearly 60 counties in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. The cooperative s generating stations have a capacity to generate approximately 1,100 megawatt electricity. Dairyland Power Cooperative delivers electricity through more than 3,100 miles of transmission lines and over 300 substations. The cooperative s generation resources include coal, natural gas, hydro, wind, landfill gas and animal waste. Dairyland Power Cooperative maintains a location in Alma, Wis.
