Founded in 1937, the Benton Rural Electric Association is a nonprofit electric cooperative that provides a range of electric power transmission, control and distribution services. It serves customers in Benton and Yakima counties in Washington. The cooperative serves residential, commercial, industrial, and agriculture and irrigation facilities. The Benton Rural Electric Association s services department offers conservation, electric safety, renewable energy and economic development services.
