I'm Bob Kimball I have been a brick and stone mason for 27 years. I have always considered it to be an art. In high school I took art class, and then bumped it up a notch when I went to Olympic College. Just one of the classes I took there was in jewelry design. In 1997, I started working with glass at a glass blowing studio just outside my home town, where I quickly learned the trade. A part of my job there was to weld the metal brackets that held our sculptures. Combining The Elements Now, I'm combining metal, glass, stone, and concrete. My favorite metals to use are Bronze, Copper, and Stainless steel. Sometimes I will use fused glass mounted in a metal sculpture, other sculptures I blow glass into a metal fram
