Brookside Animal Hospital

Brookside Animal Hospital was established in 1960 at the corner of 12th Street and Wall Avenue in Ogden, Utah by Dr. Eric Isaacson and Dr. I.G. Liljenquist. Designed to accommodate both large and small animals, the facility originally included horse and cow chutes to the west of the building. Following the untimely death of Dr. Isaacson in 1965, Dr. Liljenquist limited the practice to small animals. Dr. Frank Markos received his DVM from Colorado State University in 1967 and joined the practice at that time. Dr. Markos became a full partner in January of 1969. The partnership between Dr. Markos and Dr. Liljenquist continued until 1994 when Dr. Markos became the sole owner following Dr. Liljenquist's retirement. D
