Nashville CARES is one of Tennessee's leading community-based AIDS service organizations. It is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1985. The organization offers education, advocacy and support services. It serves more than 2,400 men, women and children. Its services include individual and group counseling, case management, emergency housing and assistance in finding permanent housing and short-term rent and utility assistance. The organization also provides home-delivered meals, transportation assistance, dental care, outpatient alcohol and drug treatment and social activities. Nashville CARES offers an array of culturally sensitive counseling and educational programs and services. The organization is located in Nashville, Tenn.
