About Tedder Company With 40 years of experience, Doug Tedder started Doug Tedder Heating & Air Conditioning in 1983. In its early years, the company offered galvanized gutter installation, flashing, custom sheet metal work and residential HVAC. As the heating and air side of the business grew, gutters and flashing were eliminated from the scope of work so that Doug could focus on providing Murfreesboro's most comprehensive HVAC services. In December of 2002, Doug's son Jay partnered with his dad to form Tedder Company.
