DakotAbilities was established in 1966 as United Cerebral Palsy. Formerly known as Community Disability Services, DakotAbilities provides residential services to more than 100 clients at over 10 separate locations in Sioux Falls, S.D. It owns more than five residential facilities, and clients own or rent at over six locations. The agency provides alternative services for people who are not interested in vocational services, employment services, communication resources, adaptive equipment development and repair, nursing services, physical and occupational therapies, dietary services and case management. It employ more than 200 people full and part-time that include case managers, skills specialists, nurses and residential manager
