Founded in 1892, Family Service of Rhode Island Inc. provides social, medical and educational services to low-income children, adults and families. The organization offers a series of services in early intervention, education, helping troubled kids and families, helping parents to help their kids, foster care and adoption. It also helps children with serious emotional and behavioral issues receive treatment in their home and community. Located in Providence, R.I., the firm is one of the oldest and largest human service agencies in the United States.
