Eugene Water & Electric Board, also known as EWEB, is one of the largest public utility companies in Oregon. Chartered by the city of Eugene as a municipal utility with a separate elected board, EWEB provides electricity, water and steam to more than 83,000 homes, business, schools and other customers in Eugene, Ore. Founded in 1911, the board, in partnership with other local agencies, offers assistance to farmers and growers in disposing unwanted chemicals through its agricultural chemical program.
