Dr Libby Hays is a graduate of the University of Texas Austin (BA Psychology, BBA Marketing), the University of North Texas (MA Organizational Psychology) and Texas A&M University (DVM Veterinary Medicine). She was sidetracked for a few years working in management training for the City of Austin and the State of Texas. After deciding to return to school, she continued working part-time for the State, taking prerequisite courses for veterinary school at UT, and volunteering at a local veterinary hospital. After graduation, she worked as an associate at a veterinary clinic for several years. She saw the need for additional mobile veterinary services in Austin and opened Mobile Cat & Dog Vet in January 2004.Dr Hays and her husband made the move to Bend in 201
