Before becoming a criminal defense lawyer, Alisha Maestas was a prosecutor responsible for all types of criminal offenses, including murder, criminal sexual penetration and contact, DWI, Domestic Violence, Violent crimes and drug cases. Much of her time was spent prosecuting major crimes where she handled murder cases and violent crimes cases as well as complex drug trafficking cases. As a prosecutor, she argued dozens of motions to dismiss and completed dozens of jury trials, involving charges ranging from DWI to Murder.
