Founded in 2005, E Energy Adams, LLC is involved in developing, building and operating a nameplate 50-million-gallon dry mill ethanol plant in southeast Nebraska. The firm produces locally grown grains which serves as an environmentally-friendly fuel for its members and local livestock producers. Based in Adams, Neb., it produces both modified wet distillers grain with solubles (MWDGS) and dried distillers grain with solubles (DDGS). The plant's energy source is natural gas and rail, which is provided by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (BNSF). Dried distillers grain with solubles (DDGS) is used for beef, dairy, poultry and swine diets.
