Flathead Electric Cooperative is a locally owned and operated cooperative that provides electric service to consumers in rural areas of Montana s Flathead Valley. Its nearly 45,000 members include homes, farms, businesses and industrial users. The cooperative offers its service via 3,800 miles of power lines that make it the one of the largest electric utilities in Montana. Flathead Electric Cooperative was established in 1937 and is headquartered in Kalispell, Mont. It operates additional offices in Libby, Mont.
