The Transition Center has been in business since 1984. It is a full-service prerelease facility for male and female offenders. The center s facilities include an office, kitchen, dining, and conference and hobby rooms. The Transition Center s men s facility is spread over an area of more than 35,000 square feet. The center serves the needs of nearly 100 clients in different types of programs. Its men s facilities feature several storage areas and more than 30 rooms. The Transition Center s women s facility occupies an area of over 10,000 square feet and serves nearly 40 females. The center offers maintenance coordination and food services for individuals.
