Dr. Henry Stephen Mitchell, OD

Stephen Mitchell, O.D. is a native of Louisville, Mississippi. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Mitchell received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Mississippi State University. He has completed externships at The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry, Eye Care Associates in Laurel, and at the Yukon Kuskokwim Health corporation in Bethel, Alaska. These externships have given him valuable experience in all areas of practice including primary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and disease management. Prior to graduation from SCO, he received the Southern Council of Optometrists Clinical Excellence Awar
