The Blain Companies is a heavy highway construction company with affiliated sand and gravel production companies. Founded in 1945 by Mr. William “Bill” Ernest Blain and Mrs. Maude Power Blain, the company is now in its third generation of ownership. The company was first started in Mount Olive, Mississippi where the home office still operates today. The company’s primary operation is Heavy Highway construction with specific emphasis in producing and laying hot mix asphalt. In addition, we have been a leader and innovator in the soil stabilization business for many years completing hundreds of miles of stabilization projects dating back to the early 1960'
