Joshua began his education with Mennonite teachings and doctrine. He graduated and taught school for multiple grades. He then began on the job training with a Mennonite Builder from Central Missouri and continued until a brief mission trip to Romania with Christian Aid Ministries. Upon his return, he decided to opened a cabinet shop and then a building and remodeling company. Much of his earlier career was spent on the job as a laborer with a tool belt learning a strong work ethic. Later he progressed into building Custom Homes. He is now considered by many one of the best Contractors in the region.
