Catalyst Mental Health was founded in 2011 by David Townes, but the idea for the business dates back to late 2007. Early in his career, David realized that a lot of the dysfunction he saw in the lives of his clients was due to the fact that they had delayed seeking any sort of help until their problems were completely beyond their control. Recognizing the damage that could have easily been prevented, David subsequently committed himself to figuring out how to make mental health services more appealing to those in need of them.
