Located in Duluth, Minn., Northwood Children's Services is a private, nonprofit multiservice agency for children and their families. Founded in 1883, it provides professional care, education and treatment for boys and girls with emotional, behavioral and learning disorders. Its programs are family focused and serve to strengthen, preserve and reunite families. The center offers residential and day treatment, diagnostic and assessment services, family mental health services and therapeutic foster care.
