As a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback in order to help clients resolve current and long-standing problems.  My strengths include: over 20 years of counseling experience with children, teens, adults, couples, and families; training in clinical community counseling at Johns Hopkins University; employment in public and private community mental health clinics; clinical supervision of other mental health professionals; teaching parenting courses; leading special focus groups; offering continuing education courses for counselors and mental health clinicians.
