I am a trauma therapist with over 24 years of experience, helping my clients get to the root cause of their problems that in actuality stem from experiencing traumatic events, often but not always in their childhoods. Survivors are often very proud of how negative experiences in childhood shaped some of their best qualities, and I honor that and celebrate it with them while giving them space to heal their wounds. Admitting pain doesn’t erase strength, and tending to it doesn’t mean one has to “fall apart” in the process.
