Jim and Debbie Chesbrough started Wood Wise Construction back in 1978. While we have been a fully licensed and insured General Contractor since 1984, we have been focusing on "Universal Design" or renovations for "Barrier Free" living spaces since 1994. Due to our dedication to making homes accessible, we recently opened the Seacoast's only showroom dedicated to Accessibility in 2010: Accessible Solutions and changed our DBA name accordingly. Watching several members of our own family cope with disabling life changes gave us the impetus to focus our work and expertise knowing we are helping improve the quality of life for other
