Dr. Shelly Anastasio is originally from Illinois. She started working at her childhood Optometrist's office in 1995. Dr. Anastasio graduated Magna Cum Laude from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri with a B.S. in 1998. Dr. Anastasio then attended Southern College of Optometry and obtained her doctor of Optometry degree in 2002 with honors. Dr. Anastasio is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometry Association of Louisiana. Dr. Anastasio is also a member of the Contact Lens and Cornea section of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Anastasio has practiced in Covington for the past six years. Dr. Anastasio also works on Staff at the Saint Thomas Community Health Center in New Orleans.
