Founded in 1934, Heartspring is a nonprofit organization that serves children with special needs in Wichita in Kansas. The organization manages Heartspring School, which is a residential and day program that serves children suffering from mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, and visual, speech and language impairments. It also offers physical, speech and occupational therapies through Heartspring Pediatric Services. Heartspring manages the Heartspring Hearing Center, which provides video otoscopy and wax removal services, as well as conducts hearing screenings for social and community groups. The organization offers programs in Myanmar, Romania and Malawi through Heartspring World Reach. Heartspring additionally offers consulting services.
