Pioneer Electric Cooperative is a team of more 50 professionals that serve the cooperative s member-owners and communities. The cooperative has been in service for more than 60 years. Pioneer Electric serves approximately 15,000 retail electric meters spread throughout 10 counties in southwestern Kansas. The system covers more than 215 miles of transmission line, 3,400 miles of distribution line and more than 15 substations.
