The Life Care Center of Seneca provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitatative assisted living and intermediate care services for senior citizens. Located in Seneca, Kan., the center features an on-site bird sanctuary. It is a part of the Life Care Centers of America, which was established in 1970 and operates more than 200 nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care service and Alzheimer's centers. It also provides over 40 independent and assisted living retirement communities in nearly 19 states that feature various amenities including, Internet cafes, indoor swimming pools, croquet courts, and game and sitting rooms.
