The Guidance Center

Established in 1937 in Atchison, Kan., The Guidance Center is a community-based agency that serves as the local community mental health center for Atchison, Jefferson and Leavenworth Counties in Kansas. Located in Oskaloosa, Kan., it provides a full range of outpatient and inpatient referral/release services for individuals, families and businesses in its communities. The agency provides an array of services, including general services, adult services, children and family as well as emergency services. The Guidance Center is licensed by the State of Kansas to provide outpatient addiction services, including alcohol and drug evaluation, treatment, education as well as relapse prevention for adults and adolescents.
