Flint Hills Rural Electric Cooperative is a distributor of electricity and electrical supplies to approximately 10 counties in Kansas, with more than 2,500 distribution lines. It offers various products and services, such as electric water heater, heat pump rebates, home surge protection, standby generation switches and energy conservation. The firm is a member of the Touchstone Energy Cooperative. Flint Hills Rural Development is a subsidiary of Flint Hills Rural Electric Cooperative. In addition, the cooperative utilizes an automated meter reading system to read its electric meters.
