As a teenager Russ Freestone began getting treatments from Nate Schulman, a physical therapist who developed the Schulman Method. Russ was so impressed by the results, he returned to Schulman for help after he began experiencing chronic pain at age 40. By that time, Schulman was in his early 80's and still working full time. Once again, Russ got relief, this time for back, elbow, and knee pain. He received training in the Schulman Method and was certified in 2003, just before he moved to Idaho.
