The Boise Project Board of Control is a re-regulating facility for irrigation water deliveries. The board maintains and operates dams and reservoirs in Idaho. It also offers emergency short-term storage solutions for dewatering the New York Canal. The Boise Project Board of Control manages more than four irrigation districts. The board has completed the construction of a three-unit power plant at the Lucky Peak Dam.
