Bump & Bump, LLP was formed as a general practice law firm in 1991 between brothers Jeffrey and William Bump. Prior to that time, William had been practicing law with their father, Wilbur N. Bump in West Des Moines, Iowa since 1984, and Jeffrey had been practicing law with an 85-lawyer law firm in Dallas, Texas since 1988. With their fathers retirement in 1990, and Jeffreys desire to return to Iowa with his wife to start a family, the partnership began.
