Established in 1965, Tenco Industries is a nonprofit organization serving more than 150 people with disabilities. It offers a wide range of services, such as prevocational training, vocational training, community-based employment, adult day life skills, adult day seniors and supported community living. Located in Ottumwa, Iowa, the company s prevocational work services comprise program coordination, individual assessment, instructional focus and paid work. It operates vocational centers and offer day programs and residential services. Tenco Industries is an affiliate member of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
