Dension Municipal Utilities (DMU) provides the community of Denison with water, wastewater services and electricity. The United States Department of Energy and Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) provides the organization s base load generations. It wheels its electricity from power plants and dams over the Federal Transmission System. In addition, Denison Municipal Utilities maintains, replaces and enhances the municipal sewer collection system as needed. The organization also provides street lighting, energy audits, water heaters and infrared scanning.
