Founded in 1962, Davenport Good Samaritan Center provides a variety of health care services for senior citizens. It features various services that include Alzheimer's care and rehabilitation programs. It operates a range of residential campuses and buildings, including more than 40 congregate living senior apartment facilities, over 200 nursing care beds, a geriatric rehabilitation center and Alzheimer's special care facility. Its services include 24-hour nursing care, individualized care plans, social services, family education and counseling, hospice care, and spiritual care and religious programs. The health center also provides therapeutic diets, housekeeping and laundry services, inpatient and outpatient therapies and home safety assessment
