Established in 1967, Innovative Industries Inc. provides vocational training and community services to people with disabilities in Creston and Winterset areas of Iowa State. The organization provides a range of day programs and residential programs. This includes work services, pre-vocational and employment services as well as activity programs, such as work activity, day habilitation and older adult program. Innovative Industries Inc., through its CARE facility provides 24-hour supervision in a congregate setting. It is licensed by the Department of Inspections and Appeals as a Residential Care Facility (RCF) and is located in Afton, Iowa. CARE is an alternative for individuals who need program services, not nursing care, in a community based setting.
