Central Iowa Power Cooperative generates and transmits power to 12 rural electric cooperatives and one municipal electric cooperative in the state of Iowa. CIPCO's service territory stretches 300 miles diagonally across the state from the Mississippi River on the eastern edge to the city of Shenandoah in the southwest corner of the state.
