Elder Law Program

Elder Law Program is a part of Community Legal Aid Society, which is a nonprofit law firm that practices civil law and represents senior citizens and people with disabilities. With locations in Wilmington, Dover and Georgetown, Del., the program assists senior citizens in matters concerning bankruptcy, life insurance, grandparent visitation, will preparation and consumer issues. Elder Law Program also handles cases regarding power of attorney, fraud, health care, security deposit, guardianship and tenant issues. In addition, the program represents clients with issues related to lending, financing, Medicaid, debtors rights and mortgages. Elder Law Program includes various legal education workshops for senior citizens.
