Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) is a nonprofit electric cooperative that serves members in four counties in southwest Colorado. It was one of the first utilities in the world to install H Power s residential-scale fuel cell prototype deriving hydrogen from propane. The company s staff continues to work toward residential fuel cell commercialization with fuel cell manufacturer H Power and Energy Co-Opportunity (ECO). ECO is a national cooperative providing distributive generation technologies to electric cooperatives such as DMEA. Delta-Montrose Electric Association is located in Montrose, Colo.
