The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place, also known as TGP, is a center that serves homeless and low-income women and children. Founded in 1986, it offers a range of food, transportation, clothing and emergency support services. The center conducts various mental health sessions, as well as provides legal solutions. The Gathering Place works in collaboration with Stout Street Clinic and offers medical examination services. It also distributes toiletry, hygiene and emergency food baskets. The center maintains a computer laboratory and conducts educational and social programs. The Gathering Place administers the Shelter from Harm program. The center serves more than 500 women and children on a monthly basis.
