The Rich Mountain Electric Cooperative, also known as RMEC, provides electric services for more than 7,600 members in Arkansas and Oklahoma. The agency has nearly 1,500 miles of power line and a staff of over 25 individuals. It offers energy efficiency evaluation solutions for buildings, electronics, household appliances, and heating and cooling systems. The Rich Mountain Electric Cooperative provides outage reporting, energy auditing and meter reading services. The agency installs security lights for homes, farms and businesses. It offers an automatic bank draft service for the payment of bills.
