Linda Nolen Learning Center, located in Alabaster, Ala., offers special education to students with learning disabilities and mental disorders. It has an enrollment of more than 100 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school offers special programs, including academic reasoning, communication, daily living physical growth and development, social and emotional skills, and technological and vocational programs. It also has a parent teacher organization that supports school activities, and organizes fund-raising events. Linda Nolen Learning Center is affiliated to Shelby County School District, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
