Quality Vinyl Siding began in early 1992 by Ricky and Gwenda Pepper. It was started in Salem in the West Limestone Community near Athens, AL. Quality Vinyl Siding moved to Athens a few years later into an old building (now demolished and a parking lot at the new Courthouse Annex) right off the square and on top of the railroad tracks. At this location, business grew the need of a larger area for a delivery truck bringing in product was needed, and since no relief was possible in a cramped downtown area another location was necessary.
