About
East Toronto Community Legal Services was unofficially started by the late Jim Renwick in the early 1970's. He operated a drop-in legal service at Woodgreen Community Centre which later led to the establishment of Riverdale Socio-Legal Services. The Clinic's name was changed to East Toronto Community Legal Services in 1984 to reflect our expanded catchment area.
