During 2012 he qualified as a fully licensed public accountant in Ontario (LPA) by passing the CGA of Ontario qualifying exam, after the changes to the Public Accounting Act, 2004. On July 2, 2014, John became a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) as a result of the signing of the unification agreement between the two bodies of CGA and CPA.Since becoming a member of CGA Canada and CGA Ontario in 1992, John has constantly upgraded his technical knowledge to keep pace with the association's Professional Development Program.
