About
Dr. Alastair Westcott received his Bachelor of Science in honours biochemistry at the University of Waterloo prior to earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. He founded Bowen Veterinary Services and has provided emergency and critical care to the island’s pet population for over 17 years, the foundation from which the Mountainside Animal Hospital vision was created. His special interests include emergency medicine, surgery, arthroscopy, and ultrasonography. When not in the hospital he can most likely be found on his motorcycle or appreciating musical genius like Springsteen.
