Dennis is a graduate of the University of Alberta (B.A. (Spec.) 1980, LL.B. 1983). He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1984. His preferred areas of practice are corporate/commercial law, Wills and Estates, and residential and commercial real estate. Dennis has maintained a satellite office in Whitecourt, Alberta since 1985. Dennis has been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Alberta Bar Association, and the Edmonton Bar Association. He is a past lecturer of articulat students for the Canadian Bar Association on a variety of topics and has served as a non-Bencher member of several of the Alberta Law Society's professional regulation committee
